ROYAL LONDON -
Organisers booking group visits to Buckingham Palace must pay long in advance and will lose the money if anyone cancels. Book with us and you’ll pay just a week before you go. We’ll even refund up to five Palace tickets for people who can’t make it on the day – that’s over £100 in Palace tickets. Our day includes a top notch Blue Badge Guide, morning coffee and biscuits and a Royal Parks coach permit to go where other tours cannot go.
Meet the Guide in Trafalgar Square at 10.30am for morning coffee (included). We’re not mucking about today, it’s Royal London all the way, so we’ll begin with a little walk to see the Changing of the Queen’s Life Guards. Then using our special permit we’ll drive under Admiralty Arch and along the Mall for the best views of Buckingham Palace. Our entertaining coach tour traces the story of where the royals have lived over the past twelve hundred years. We look at birthplaces, scandals and successes. The coach tour will keep your legs fresh for the Palace.
We break for lunch on the South Bank with a choice of cafés and restaurants or bring a packed lunch. Buckingham Palace is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria. Using technical wizardry and featuring personal items, Queen Victoria’s Palace shows the transformation through her 63 year reign when the Palace became a power symbol of the British monarchy, as well as a family home. The popular tea marquee in the garden is back. Head home at 5,30pm. Or make the day a Jam Buster -
