Create a memorable Christmas celebration for your group with a day trip or an evening out in the company of an award winning guide. Since 1988 we have specialised in producing creative and original itineraries for British clubs and societies. If you organise outings for a group that includes people who like to see a lot without walking too far  then look no further. You book your own coach locally and our Blue Badge Guide joins your coach for a trip that your members will talk about for a long time to come.

THE CHRISTMAS CARVERY OR SUPPER CLUB

Enjoy a tour of the London Christmas Lights & Sights with a top notch Blue Badge Guide coupled with a tasty three-course carvery with a tea or coffee at a swish London hotel in Bloomsbury or a Fish & Chip Feast including dessert, tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco in Clerkenwell.

There's also the budget option of ending with fish & chips and a hot drink and letting group members choose and pay for their own desserts and drinks as desired.

CHRISTMAS IN FAVERSHAM & CANTERBURY

Today we begin with lunch at an historic old pub in Faversham before an afternoon of shopping and sightseeing in the heart of Canterbury with the option to enjoy Choral Evensong sitting in the Quire at the very heart of Canterbury Cathedral.

THE CHRISTMAS FLICKS

The Regent Street cinema was the first in the country to show moving pictures. In 1896, when the Lumiere brothers' showed flickering moving images to a paying audience here, British cinema was born.

This fun little Christmas trip starts with a matinee followed by a tour that combines London in Film with the Christmas Lights & Sights. The Christmas matinees are classics from the 1940s to the 1960s.

THE CHRISTMAS POST

Discover the very British story of posting a letter from Roman times to the coming of the GPO. We combine an entertaining guided coach tour that also shows you the best of Christmas London with a visit to the museum and a ride on Mail Rail, which once whizzed four million letters a day beneath the busy streets of London.

CRUISING INTO CHRISTMAS

Come to Royal Greenwich from 1pm and enjoy an afternoon of Christmas shopping in the covered market and boutique style shops with time to visit the National Maritime Museum and the Queen's House (both are free entry).

Cruising Into Christmas

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

Charles Dickens didn't exactly invent Christmas but he did create an idea of a London Christmas that has been exported around the world. It's a picture of foggy streets and hearty feasts with the rich man at his table and the poor man with his nose pressed to the frosted glass. We show both sides of the coin through the foods people ate and the shops and markets they visited to buy them.

HAMPSTEAD & THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

The old village of Hampstead sits high above the rest of London. It was our Montmartre - artists and writers were drawn here by the clean air and cheap rents. Cheap no longer. Select and opulent it is said that Hampstead has more millionaires than almost anywhere else in London. The day includes a tasty roast lunch in the nearest that London gets to a country pub and some free time for shopping.

A KENTISH CHRISTMAS

Enjoy sweeping views over the Thames and Medway on the little known and mysterious Hoo Peninsula, a roast lunch together and Christmas shopping and sightseeing in lovely old-fashioned Rochester.

Meet at 10.30am in a pub next door to Charles Dickens' old house at Higham for coffee and biscuits included in the tour fee.

WINTER & CHRISTMAS IN WINDSOR - with Windsor Castle

During the winter, with fewer tourists around, extra rooms known as the Semi-State apartments are opened at Windsor Castle. For Christmas the castle decorations include a spectacular tree. You'll also tour the Royal Landscape and visit the Windsor Farm Shop where the Queen sells produce from the Royal Farms.
