Run as a social enterprise restaurant there will be a warm welcome and crackers on the table for an enjoyable group Christmas celebration. Next by coach for a really good overview of this vibrant city. See Brunel’s iconic Suspension Bridge, enjoy panoramic views of the Avon Gorge from the Clifton Downs and discover Bristol Harbourside to hear all about the origin of famous phrases such as Ship Shape & Bristol Fashion.
Next we visit the ever popular Bristol Christmas Markets. There are two. The German Christmas Market offers traditional German Christmas gifts as well as Glühwein and bratwurst. The Bristol Christmas Local Market celebrates all things handmade by Bristol craftsmen and artists.
Shop all afternoon or join the guide for a stroll to the nearby Old Town area to see the ‘nails’ which gave us the expression to pay on the nail. There will be time to buy tea or a bite to eat before heading home at 6.30pm.
